Hello,

I faced a strange issue. I try to delete some data from my azure blob; however it fails to delete with the following message:
2022/04/28 05:18:39 ERR: [P#0-T#41] DELETE SKIPPED(blob has snapshots): train.percepnet.full.timePitch.10s/trainer.rank2.log

Could you please let me know how to solve this?

    @Mehdi Zohourian Welcome to Microsoft Q&A, Thank you for posting your query here!

    Error message : SnapshotsPresent|This operation is not permitted because the blob has snapshots.

    Until Snapshot is delete you can't delete the container

    Option 1: You navigate to the blob in question "https://mzohourian/torch-separator/resources/train.percepnet.full.freqPitch.3s?se=2022-05-28t05%3A18%3A33z&sig=-REDACTED-&sp=rdl&sr=c&sv=2020-10-02&timeout=901"
    Right click -> Manage Snapshots
    Delete all the snapshots and and try to delete the blob

    Option 2: x-ms-delete-snapshots: {include, only}
    Required if the blob has associated snapshots. Specify one of the following two options:

    include: Delete the base blob and all of its snapshots.
    only: Delete only the blob's snapshots and not the blob itself.

    Delete Blob: The Delete Blob operation marks the specified blob or snapshot for deletion. The blob is later deleted during garbage collection.

    Please let us know if you have any further queries. I’m happy to assist you further.
