is it possible to make a 'recycle bin' on a flash or thumb drive?

    Yes you can, I have one on my SD Card right now on my Tablet. Just copy this text below in notepad and save as a REG file. like adddrive.reg. Then click it and merge it. Logout and back on. When you unhide your files/folders, you will see the hidden recycle bin.

    Copy the Reg file below here between the lines and save as a reg file extension from notepad. The reg file sets up for future added users so when you create a new account they can have a recycle bin on flash memory device(non fixed drive).

    This shows I have an SD Card driver installed

    This shows in Systray, I have SD Card plugged in. And it shows NEW FOLDER deleted from D drive(sd card) in Recycle Bin.

    You could create a folder and name it Trash or Deleted Or Recycled or whatever. It won't be a system folder. It will be a storage folder for files you intend to manually delete later.
