Cannot add new TERMs to Managed Metadata Service in sharepoint 2016 on premise

Hi,

I am the administrator of our Site. I am trying to add a new Term Group with new TERMS in the Term Store Management Tool, but when I right click on "Managed Metadata Services" i don't get the option. My name is there as the Administrator.

    hello, check are there any errors on browser console (F12). Also in which browser do you test it? Did you try to do the same in other different browser.
    Are there other term store administrators? Is problem reproduced for them?

    If all of these won't help you - try to check ULS log (you may copy url of term store page and find correlation id for request for this page. Then filter records by this correlation id and see all related records. There is convenient tool which allows to filter ULS logs: ULS log viewer)

    I have the same issue on SharePoint 2019, I have tried three different browsers so far and all have the same problem!

    I deleted the service and recreated it one more time since this is a fresh installation and it worked
