Mailbox in Outlook wont load/can't be opened

Hello,

When I add a mailbox to my outlook.
Then when i try to fold it down.

It loads for a little while. (sometimes outlook is not answering)
And eventually I get this error:

I've tried turning off cached mode in Outlook.
Restarted a bunch of times after changes where made etc.

I have a bunch of users who've got the same issue.
And for some, it works without any issues.
Does anyone have an idea?

Thank you, and have a nice day :)

Best regards
Victor

From the error message, we can know the OST file may be something occupied, we could take steps below to narrow down it:

  1. Run Outlook in safe mode (Outlook.exe /safe), then check whether this issue is caused by any add-ins.

  2. If there exists any antivirus software on your computer, I would suggest you uninstall it temporarily. Check whether this issue is caused by antivirus software keep scanning Outlook OST file. If this issue is caused by antivirus software, you could add OST file to the whitelist.

  3. You could also use Task Manager to check whether there exists any other program occupying this OST file:
Check the name of OST file from Outlook:

Use Task Manager to check whether OST file is occupied:
