I am getting error when I try to login in my windows RDP server 2019

Hello Community ,

I am having windows RDP server 2019 of type t2 medium which is a Jump host server and I am trying to Remote desktop another windows server of type t3 medium through my Jump host server but I get error whenever I try to login.

I can successfully login windows server of type t2 medium through my windows jump host server which is of type t2 medium and error starts popping whenever I change my windows server from type t2 to t3.

I have attached the screenshot of my error.

Please Provide some Advice!

Thanks,!

Hi there,

You’re likely to bump into this error based on how you’ve configured your network settings. So, you could resolve the problem by restoring your network settings to their default.

  • Open CMD as admin.

  • Type the following command and press Enter netsh int ip set DNS

  • From there, type the following command and press Enter netsh winsock reset

Disabling and re-enabling the NLA settings on your device could also help. This issue might be caused by corrupted or incompatible network drivers. So, you can either update or reinstall these drivers to get rid of this error.

Here is a link that has some additional troubleshooting steps which you can try and see if helps in overcoming your issue. Troubleshoot authentication errors when you use RDP to connect to Azure VM https://docs.microsoft.com/en-us/troubleshoot/azure/virtual-machines/cannot-connect-rdp-azure-vm
