We have legacy software that still uses VBA (Visual Basic for Applications, not to be confused with VB.net). Following all my researches into MS web sites, I found VBA SEEMS to have stopped being distributed for 3rd party applications at 6.5. BUT FOR SECURITY AND LEGAL REASONS I need a response from MS (or official reference) stating that:
1) Visual Basic for Application (VBA) stopped being distributed for use by 3rd parties at 6.5.
2) That the current 7.1 being bundled into MS Office cannot be redistributed by 3rd parties.
Those two elements are essential to all VBA integrators (past 20 years) and are nowhere to be found.
