Is possible to customize Trigger By field on PipelineRuns from ADF?

Hi, in the product I am working on, we have a SyncJob which triggers PipelineRuns under certain conditions, at the ADF Blade when this job triggers a PipelineRun at Triggered By it displays 'Manual trigger' but I would like to customize this field to display 'SynJob trigger' or something like this.

I have been looking at MS documentation but it seems that this is not a property field of the PipelineRuns, but I want to make sure if this could be possibly done.

Thanks in advance

    Hi @Jesus Sanz Losa ,
Welcome to Microsoft Q&A platform and thankyou for posting your query.
As I understand your query, it seems like you want to update the Triggered by field which is displayed under monitor tab to some customized hardcoded value.

At this moment, it's not possible . However, you can leverage the option of creating a scheduled/ event trigger with the name as SynJob trigger . That would in turn display SynJob trigger when the pipeline would trigger.

Another good approach would be to make use of **annotations** that's like attaching a tagname to your pipeline.

Check this blog for more details on how to use annotation: https://www.cathrinewilhelmsen.net/annotations-user-properties-azure-data-factory/

Hope this will help. Please let us know if any further queries.
