How to use ScriptManager in Sharepoint 2019?

Hi,

We are migrating from SP2010 to SP2019, and we have been using a lot of update panel all over the site in SP2010, but in SP2019 we cannot find the support for scriptmanager and updatepanel, kindly advise if SP2019 does not support ajax, or any alternate work around that can be used for partial page rending in SP2019 web pages.

Thanks & Regards,

Hi @MinalPatel-9262 ,
Sharepoint 2010 and Sharepoint 2019 use different .Net framework versions. SP2019: .Net 4.7.2 - see Hardware and software requirements for SharePoint Server 2019
So you will need to rebuild your ASP.Net application against .Net 4.7.2 first.
Script Manager also support .net 4.7.2
