@Elvin Caldwell @MartinJaffer-MSFT - Our organization is seeing a similar issue when attempting to write files to an SFTP from and Azure Function. The last time we saw this error, our team that monitors the SFTP site confirmed its availability and we were not seeing any authentication errors, etc in the logs but it eventually, after a few days, just starting working again without any modifications.
This app has been running and writing files, daily for many months and we only started seeing the issue again this week.
Error message: Error calling the endpoint ''. Response status code: 'NA - Unknown'. More details: Exception message: 'NA - Unknown [ClientSideException] Invalid URI: The format of the URI could not be determined.'. Request didn't reach the server from the client. This could happen because of an underlying issue such as network connectivity, a DNS failure, a server certificate validation or a timeout.
Please share the resolution to this issue if available

Did this happen one time, or all the time?
The most likely cause I can gather from this error message, is a typo in the URL/URI. This is in a Web Activity, correct?
Beyond that, I would need to refer you to a different support channel where an engineer can look into the appropriate logs.

This has been happening off an on, its kind of sporadic but some times quite often other times it may be a few weeks and then it starts happening again. Yes this is a web activity. but if there was a typo it would not work correctly at all. It does work to refresh the Anaysis service model. just gives this error during the refresh of the model. I do have a support plan with my company. How do i initiate that?

In the Azure portal, find your Analysis Services instance, and scroll the sidebar all the way down. "Support Ticket" is at the bottom under "Support + troubleshooting".

We are facing the same issue when we try to call a webapi from web activity in ADF. One weird thing is it is not happening to all requests to the same api, some works and others does not.
