Creating a virtual machine hangs

Create a virtual machine on a free trial hangs without results.

Here are the steps:

1. Create a virtual machine
   Gave machine a name, US East region, Security Type Standard, Image DataCenter 2016 Gen 2. No Sizes available, and I could not choose Recommended by the Publisher.
   Filled in user name and password.

Sometimes a message comes up saying "Your subscription does not support virtual machine creation in US East region. Tried Central Canada, didn't work either.

Firstly, apologies for any inconvenience this issue may have caused.

Few VM sizes are currently not available in certain region due to demand (this is the case for many free trial accounts VM sizes). The solution is to create your VM resources in neighboring regions during these periods of high demand.

There are few other customers who reported similar issue, and redeploying in another region was successful.
I would recommend you to try deploying VM in US Central, US North Central, US West, and US South Central.
