Interactive sorting in column group in SSRS

Hello,

I have sorting issue in SSRS.

I have table(Tablix) with column grouping enabled on the ProductCategory column in Power BI Report Builder.Please refer screenshot #1200282-ssrs.png

I want to sort the data in the column group, As there is a column grouping currently I am unable to sort the data in it. Screenshot #2.

    Hi @Poovarasan Velu ,
    SSRS report developer facing a common problem of implementing interactive sorting on column group in Matrix whenever we add an interactive sorting on column group sorting symbol will appear but did not affect when we click it. This is one of the limitations of SSRS.

    You could set interactive sorting in column groups by:

    I did a local test，mine can‘t sorting too, but there is a work around，you can set the row group sorting.

    BTW,you can also create a feild in the dataset specially for the sorting .

    No, It doesn't worked for me and one more thing I want to do interactive sort in the row grouping as well.

    Hi @Poovarasan Velu

    SSRS has it's limitation , I think interactive sort is not available in matrix. I have a thought that maybe you can pivot the origin data in the dataset then use a table to get the similar result ,then use the interactive sort .
