Hey, on startup my computer is incredibly slow. I cannot move my mouse hardly, clicking does nothing, can’t type, and programs don’t start up on startup like discord and steam. The only way to fix this problem is by restarting my pc by holding down the power till it shuts off and then turn it back on. This fixes it but is incredibly annoying and would like to know if this can be fixed. Thanks in advance!

Hello, I'm Jan and I'm happy to help you today. I'm sorry that you are experiencing this problem. A slow startup can be caused by background applications, outdated drivers, corrupted file systems. Remove any external storage device(flash drive, Ext Hdd, sd card) when booting your computer. Here are some suggestions you can try.

    1. Disable unnecessary applications programs that are running from the startup

    Try these steps

    Press CTRL+ALT+Delete

    Then click on Task Manager

    Then Navigate to Startup Tab

( from there you can Disable unnecessary applications running from the startup)

    1. Perform a Clean Boot to disable unnecessary startup and services

    Clean install the graphics drivers.

    1. This will upgrade and repair your system without losing your files and apps.

Download the Media creation tool here.

    Then choose "ISO"

Once it is downloaded click or open the file using the windows explorer

Then open or click "setup" to run.
