APIM Events are not triggered when we attach any product to API and vice versa.

I understand that you had created an Event subscription for you APIM instance, and I assume that you have enabled event types as "API Management service product updated" and "API Management service API updated".

So, you expect that after enabling the above-mentioned event types APIM should trigger an event when you associate an API to product or vice versa, could you please confirm if my understanding is correct here?

I had a discussion internally and could confirm you that associating a Product with an API or adding an API to a product is not an update that's the reason the Events are not getting triggered.

@Shekhar Nadide Thanks for getting back, as of now there is no event that is getting triggered when you assign an API to product or vice versa.
please refer the event types that API Management emits in this document
