Cannot create a channel in a team (Created one previously in that team)

I am a User Administrator for our account.

A couple of months ago, I created a team, and I was able to add channels. A week ago, I tried adding a new channel and got the error:

We're having trouble creating your channel. Please try again later.

I tried again later — I've been trying daily for the past week.

I have verified that I am still listed as an Owner of the team. As a User Administrator, I removed and re-added myself.

I created a new team and tried to add a channel there, again with that error message — in the freshly created team.

There are no deleted channels in either team. The name of the channel I've tried is "Blog" and "BlogDev" (I tried to see if I was hitting a secret reserved name).

I'm not sure what else to check. Thank you for any insight you can provide!

    @Isaac Eiland-Hall

    If you could create a channel normally in Teams web client, I think this issue may related to your Teams client itself.

    In this way, could you try to clear Teams client cache file to see if it could be fixed?
