recently my user changed new laptop and this only happens on the new laptop.

user was trying to reschedule the meeting to another's VIP's delegate.
she's a delegate to her boss trying to reschedule the meeting on behalf to another's VIP's delegate and hit with this error.

any suggestion is appreciated. thanks

In order to further confirm your question, please provide relevant information on the following questions for our better research:

What's the version of your Outlook? (File > Office Account > About Outlook). Please make sure you have upgraded your Outlook to the latest version.

Can the user do the same operation in other machine or OWA?

According to your description, I have understood that the user(call her user A) is a delegate both to her boss(call him user B) and another VIP(call him user C), right?

And for "reschedule the meeting" you mentioned, how did you reschedule? Is it to add participants or something else?

this is not performable on OWA

this is working on the old computer.

she is managing calendar of her manager and reschedule using the meeting reschedule option, suggesting new time, and instead of sending the suggested time to the VIP, but send to the VIP's delegate, then hit with this error.

According to your description, i have done the following test and didn't reproduce your issue. Please check if there're any differences with your process:
UseA is delegate to manage B, User D is delegate to VIP C
Manage A created a meeting and sent it to VIP D, then User A opened the Manager A's calendar and updated the meeting(by changing the time, removing VIP C and adding User D in "To" field)

should be the correct process, like i said before. Old computer has no issue but new computer got issue.

if we do this on ONLINE outlook mode, no issue on new computer, but once we go back to cached mode, the issue comes back.

Considering the issue is related to cache mode, it's suggesed that you could rename the .ost file and restart Outlook to check if there're any differences:

Please go to File>Account Settings>Account Settings…>Date Files tab>choose your data file and click Open File Location, then you will see the .ost file of your account.

Please close the Outlook client.

Right-click the .ost file>rename.

Restart Outlook to check if Outlook can work normally.

If the issue still exists, it is suggested that you could try to create a new profile(Control Panel>Mail>Show Profiles>add) and add the account to check if there're some differences.

old computer has no issue.

the new computer has issue and we have actually recloned it still the same issue.

so not sure what went wrong?

Hi @Leong ,

As i metioned above, considering the issue occurred in Outlook with cache mode in new computer, it may be related to the ost datafile. Maybe you can try the method of renaming ost file.
