Microsoft Visual C++ 2008 Redistributable Setup

Error 1935.An error occurred during the installation of assembly 'Microsoft.VC90.ATL,version="9.0.30729.6161",publicKeyToken="1fc8b3b9a1e18e3b",processorArchitecture="amd64",type="win32"'. Please refer to Help and Support for more information. HRESULT: 0x80070005.

OK

Note: I did fiddle with that specific x86 policy 9.0 in reg edit .... and I don't even remember whether that particular entry 9.0.30729.6161 existed or not.
And I did the sys checks.

Thank you...please help me.

    Repair .net framework and check.

    Repair the Microsoft .NET Framework installation

    To do this, follow these steps:

    a. Click Start, click Control Panel, and then click Add or Remove Programs.

    b. In the Currently installed programs list, click Microsoft .NET Framework, and then click Change/Remove.

    c. Click Repair, and then click Next.

    Once done reinstall Visual C++

    As Joseph mentioned... disabling the AV worked for me. I had this issue on multiple computers. I've been trying to install Revit 2019 on these machines running Windows 11, and Visual C++2008 redistributable is required.
