SSRS Data Bar Label Position won't change

I'm using a databar in a matrix for a percentage. But the labels will not cross the color boundary, either they are entirely beside the data bar, or entirely within the data bar. For certain values, this cause an inadequate space to display the data label on a single line, so it tries to scroll them and ends up with an illegible label. In the image below, you can see this where the label should be -7.5%

So, I went to position property of the Chart Series Label and tried the following expression:

  =iif(fields!MTD_Sales.Value>fields!MTD_Sales_Last_Year.value,"Left","Right")

But that didn't change anything, the labels are still exactly as they were before.

Hi @DarrenLathen-9492

I think it is designed to be like that ,the position property somehow doesn't work,it is hard perhaps not possible to change ,my recommend to you is to add another column to show the label and hide the label on the data bar.
