SP 2010 solutions running in 2019 on-prem

Can anyone tell me if SharePoint 2019 can run SharePoint 2010 farm solutions in 2010 mode (v14)?

I am planning an upgrade from SP 2013 (with all sites in 2010 mode) to 2019. I want to keep all of the original 2010 mode sites (and solutions) as-is in 2019 as the move to 2019 is purely to remain supported by Microsoft. The business does not want to upgrade the solutions for compliance and lifecycle reasons.

The Social articles I've read so far have different use cases where there is a intent to upgrade to 2013 mode, but the difference is that I need to stay in 2010 mode.

Will the 2010 solutions still work in 2019, or do they have to be upgraded to 2013 mode for 2019?

Thank you in advance!

    @John Petrutis

    Yes, SharePoint 2010 solutions have to be upgraded to 2013 mode for SharePoint 2019.
