Email signature picture not displaying

Question

I am using my GoDaddy webmail via Outlook and when I send email, the picture I have added as my email signature produces the error 'the linked image cannot be displayed', or just comes up with a red X and 'loading' but nothing else.
How do I fix this?

Accordind to my search, it is recommened you try these methods I provide below.

Method 1:
(Important: Follow the steps in this section carefully, serious problems might occur if you modify the registry incorrectly. Before you modify it, back up the registry for restoration in case problems occur.
Refer to this article about how to back up and restore the registry in Windows.)

HKEY_CURRENT_USER\Software\Microsoft\Office\X.0\Outlook\Options\Mail
DWORD: Send Pictures With Document
Remove the Send Pictures With Document registry value, or change the value of Send Pictures With Document to 1.

If there isn't such value in registry, add Send Pictures With Document with a value of 1, or change the existing Send Pictures With Document value to 1.

In IE go to Internet Options-Advanced; look under Security for Do not save encrypted files to disk. Untick this setting and Apply. Restart Outlook and you should be fixed.
