Frontdoor is not able to access Storage Account

I have a storage account which has IP restriction to access. Also it is used to host static website. I added this static web url (from this storage account)to my classic front door (public) as a backend.
But when i try to hit the frond end url of the front door, it give 404 error. If i remove the ip restriction on the storage account, contents are coming while hitting frond end url. How to make the front end work with storage account having ip restriction?

Hello @RajNair

Welcome to Microsoft Q&A Platform,

Are you using private endpoint for the storage account?

No private endpoint for this SA. Only IP restricted @LuisRodriguez-MSFT

@RajNair , do try by checking the Azure resource exceptions at the bottom of the configuration,

This should work if AFD is listed under trusted services.

AFD is not in trusted services. So this option is not working @suvasara-MSFT

@RajNair , Then the best solution would be deploying a WAF for AFD and set the IP restriction rules on WAF instead of storage account.

Here is a doc for reference
