SSIS cube job failing on SQL Server 2016

Dear Experts,

I have an SSIS package which is failing with below error.

"An error occurred while processing the partition of the measure group for the cube from the database".

I came across a solution on this https://ch1n2.wordpress.com/2010/02/04/errors-in-the-olap-storage-engine-an-error-occurred-while-processing-the-dm-item-number-partition-of-the-dm-item-number-measure-group-for-the-insitecube-cube-from-the-insite_acm_cube-data/

However, I am unsure how exactly this can be done? I searched online but not able to find any suitable information.
Could you please advise?

Thanks

Hi @moboy-9601,
The message is general for us to narrow down the issue, could you please provide more details about it? Like Olaf said you may run the package via SSDT or you may see the error message when executing the package via SSISDB catalog.

That's to less on information and the error message don't provide details.
Execute the package manually in SSDT and see if you get more details about the error and it 's cause.

I updated the time out settings based on this link https://knowledge.broadcom.com/external/article/162315/cube-processing-timeout-error-prior-to-j.html

and it appeared to work again
