Setting up and managing device configurations using Intune

If you want to give the device to a new user, the recommended method is do wipe action and then re-enroll the device.

Currently, there is no method to prevent duplicate enrollments. If you want to delete the old enrollment record, it is suggested to try to configure a Device clean-up rule to clean the inactive record.

If you are still interested in preventing duplicate enrollments, it is suggested to post in intune feedback portal. This is a place to collect customers' requirements and problems.
