I am preparing to move a client from a hosted intune tenant to their own intune tenant. I am wondering will these devices that are currently enrolled in both ABM and the hosted intune tenant have to be factory reset before enrolling them in the new tenant?
@Dev Thanks for posting in our Q&A. From your description, did you mean that you want to migrate the devices from an old tenant to a new tenant? If there is anything misunderstanding, please correct me.
The most important thing is to remove the device from the old tenant and re-enroll the device to the new tanent. Based on my understanding, factory reset is not a necessary operation. If you want the device to be a completely new device, of course you can perform factory reset action.

Hello thanks for the response. I am moving from one intune tenant to a new intune tenant. The devices are also in Apple Business Manager.
So the only thing i will need to do is remove them from the old tenant and enroll them into the new one via Company Portal?
@Dev Based on my understanding, intune ADE enrollment will needs Apple Business Manager. It seems that the device is an ADE enrollment device in the old tenant.
