do we have to set firewall rule every time we connect microsoft azure sql database to ssms

whenever I have to use SSMS I have to add client IP address in azure. Is there any way available to use SSMS without adding public IP every time?

    Hi @HarshitaVerma-1359, welcome to Microsoft Q&A forum.

    Firewall rules are there to protect unauthorized access to the Azure SQL Server and only the permitted IPs will be able to access the server and its recommended as well.

    However we can whitelist all the IPs that are connecting to Azure SQL. In this case you don't need to add IPs again and again. Refer to below screenshot on how to configure this:
