Hello Teams Community

Please i need your help on this.

We are porting existing Microsoft calling plan numbers over to NTT as the Telco provider using DRaaS (Direct routing) and are looking to put together a smooth process for the day of the port with recommended timings for required actions.

We expect to have to remove the calling plan license and once the port has completed re-enable the Teams EV users for voice via Direct routing.

Are there any other things we should be considering in the Henkel tenant?

    Hi @IBN

So you are trying to move Calling Plan Users to Direct Routing, right? If this is the case, based on my research, you could refer to the general steps as below:

    1. Unassign the user's Calling Plan Phone Number.
    2. Remove the Calling Plan License.
    3. Reprocess the licensing from AzureAD portal and wait for at least half an hour.
    4. Log in to Teams PowerShell and set the OnPremLineURI attribute to the Direct Routing DDI and make sure the EnterpriseVoiceEnabled attribute is set to $true. See
    5. Assign Online Voice Routing Policy and Dialplan.

More details, hopefully you can find the article below helpful:
