Hi all,

We have been upgrading our estate from 1909 to 20H2 for the last year now via SCCM. Enterprise support ended on the 10th of May, which I am aware of. We have roughly upgraded 10,000 machines and are still doing a tidy up to get the remaining 150 machines upgraded when they come online. Today I noticed the 20H2 update is no longer available in Software Center for the machines that are still on 1909.

When I go to monitoring in SCCM to check the status of the machines it is showing that the 1909 machines are compliant, but when I log on to the machines they are definitely still on 1909. Am I missing something? Has the 20H2 update expired for 1909 machines?

Regards
Kevin

    Hi there,

To the best of my knowledge, the 20H2 update has not expired. It will be serviced for 30 months from the release date for devices running Windows 10 Enterprise or Windows 10 Education editions. Like the 1909 update, the Win 10 20H2 is available as an enablement package,

To upgrade to Windows 10 20H2 using ConfigMgr, you can either use the servicing plans or deploy the 20H2 feature update or enablement package. SCCM admins can deploy the Windows 10 20H2 enablement package to upgrade Windows 10 2004 to 20H2.

Hope this resolves your Query !!

I think I might have found the answer there was a new version for 20H2 in SCCM\WSUS released on 23-05-2022, which I have not downloaded or deployed yet.

I am going to download and deploy it to see if this fixes the issue!
