How to debug Windows Android Subsystem crashing repeatedly?

For some reason my Windows Android Subsystem installation is constantly crashing. I'm generally using it for Flutter development, but also have some apps installed from the app store, and they all seem to crash often. The flutter error message was this: "DeadSystemException: The system died; earlier logs will point to the root cause", which points in the direction of this being an issue somewhere in the actual Android subsystem.

So my question is - how do I debug this further? Are there any kind of android system logs that I can look at to analyze this further?

Secondary question: I noticed that new versions of the subsystem get released on Windows Insider dev channels, but is it possible to get a dev build only for the Android subsystem without switching my entire computer to the dev insider channel?

In this case try update Windows and update applications in the Microsoft Store.
In case this problem started, after you installed a specific application, try uninstalling it.
    Restart your PC.
Open start and search for feedback and open the Feedback Hub app and report this issue.

For anyone interested: The latest builds of WSA include an option to view diagnostic data. Also, it's possible to get nightly builds of WSA without switching to the Nightly Insider Channel, but you'll have to install the nightly build manually (google it).
