API permissions for Microsoft Graph

Hi,
In the following KB, https://docs.microsoft.com/en-us/graph/known-issues#license-check-errors-for-azure-ad-activity-reports
it was previously reported (as of April 6, 2022) that this API has a known issue and currently requires consent to both the AuditLog.Read.All and Directory.Read.All permissions.

Is this still the case, or has the issue been resolved?

Thank you,

In my findings, the issues still exists. Microsoft Graph REST API has a known issue as highlighted in this page: directoryaudit-list

Also, note that the link provided in your question hints the issue when when retrieving the signInActivity property, as follows:
This error is due to intermittent license check failures, which we are working to fix. As a temporary workaround, add the Directory.Read.All permission. This temporary workaround will not be required when the issue is resolved.

So, hopefully, the issue expected to be resolved soon
