Microsoft Hotmail/Outlook Deleted my Inbox

Question

My focused inbox has all been deleted and I didn't do it, something has clearly gone wrong here.

I think I have managed to recover most of it from the deleted items, but I am now concerned that this service can no longer be trusted.

the Other inbox was not affected

Has Microsoft Hotmail/Outlook had a melt down again?

Outlook.com (hotmail) is not currently supported here on Q&A. The product group for Outlook.com actively monitors questions in dedicated forums here.
