Regarding KB5004442 - Manage changes for Windows DCOM Server Security Feature Bypass (CVE-2021-26414)

If the June 2021 update is installed, then I create the registry "RequireIntegrityActivationAuthenticationLevel" at HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SOFTWARE\Microsoft\Ole\AppCompat setting the value to 0 (Disabled) and reboot, then when the June 14, 2022 update/patch is installed will the registry value be changed or will I need to modify the value of the registry back to 0 and reboot again?

No, it should be fine to do and will not change until 3/14/2023 update.

    Hi JoshStewart-7629,

There has been no clarification regarding this as of yet. You will need to check again closer for the time of release or within the release notes for the next update.
