Failed to install Edge for Business (OS: Windows 10 Pro)

To whom it may concern,

I downloaded the edge browser for business via https://www.microsoft.com/en-us/edge/business/download . The installation didn't start probably, it aborted at the early stage.

I'm using windows 10 professional. I am not sure edge for business can be installed on to win 10 pro. Please reply me asap. The edge for business is essential to my company.

I have tried to download the Edge for Business from that link on the Windows 10 Pro. It is downloaded and installed successfully.

I would suggest you again try to install it and see whether this time it gets installed.

Since my Windows 10 Pro was just upgraded from home edition today, is there any chance that the edge for business installation could not recognize my upgraded windows version?

Because I'm experiencing the sudden cut-off from the installation exactly like the home edition. My windows 10 pro was just upgraded today. I doubt that this is the major issue of the installation.

Please try to upgrade win10 home to win10 pro and try to install edge for business. I am really in a hurry to fix the computer before the deadline.

Hi @KMT ,

I understand that you have upgraded from Windows 10 Home to Windows 10 Pro.

I would suggest you install the latest windows updates and after that try to install the Edge browser.

See whether this approach works and the Edge browser get installed.
