Hi, I am somehow (finally) installed the business licensed version of Office 365 but am not able to use office.com for creating online docs/spreadsheets etc.I get an error saying ‘unable to create new workbooks’

I looked up the subscription and it does include online access & onedrive as well. Does anyone know if there is a restriction on use?

Fyi, I had a personal account of office365 and I had no problems earlier. The issue is only once I switched to the business account

    Hi Gaurav,

    I'm glad to help you.

Do you see the same error message as below picture shows?

There are three necessary licenses for using office online apps.

    1. OneDrive Online
    2. SharePoint Online
    3. Office Online

In conclusion, the license of your work account is control by your company admin, while your personal account are free to use online office applications without restrictions.

If you ensure that you have the necessary license, you can clear your web browser's cache, cookies, and history, then go to office portal and try creating new online files again.

If you are still confused with the problem, you can sign in your work account and post your  Office 365 portal subscriptions page here. We will keep giving support until your question been solved.

    Thanks.

    Regards,

    Eric

    Gaurav:

Since you don't have access to Online & One Drive so better contact to Help Center to fix the issue.

If your License allowed to use Online/One Drive then must be included.
