Group Policy Software Deploy Distribution Point - Changing Servers

I am rebuilding a server which has the Network share Distribution Point for Group Policy Software Deployment. When it goes live, it will have the same name and IP as the old server. The OS will be 2019 where as the old one was 2012. Is there some kind of identifier or GUID that will change when I copy the .msi files to the new server? I'd like the installs to continue working as though nothing happened.
