I have a Probook G3 i purchased second hand yesterday . It would have originally had Windows installed but its not activated now . how do i get it reinstalled

    If it had had a Windows 7 or 8.1 installation that had never been upgraded to Windows 10 there is no automatic licensing information on Microsoft servers.

    If it had had a Windows 10 OEM license that had at any time been updated then licensing information is on Microsoft servers.

    If it were a computer used in a business without OEM where the organization had used activation services then it would require the purchase of a retail version of Windows 10 or 11.
