Hello,

current environment:

-Exchange 2010
-all mailboxes(50) and mail flow were migrated to O365
-ADconnect but without hybrid

I want to disable ADconnect so that all users accounts are cloud only and decomission Exchange 2010.

What are pros and cons to have O365 without ADconnect and Exchange onprem?

Thank you

    I dont see any cons really. If you can manage everything in Azure and Exchange Online, I think thats the state most orgs wish they could be.

    @Andy

    Most of the functions for local AD and Exchange on-premises exist Azure AD and Exchange online.

    For relay emails, Exchange on-premises is easier than Exchange online, you can also relay email from a virtual address. But Exchange online is safer than Exchange on-premises.
