Question

Azure Communication Services - Challenges in Room Creation with SDK/API

I am working to implement a peer-to-peer video conferencing plugin using Microsoft Azure communication Services. The challenge is, I am not getting the reference code/SDK/API to work with Rooms concept of Microsoft Azure communication Services. Can someone share some working examples to refer, with Rooms SDK/Room API.

I tried using - https://learn.microsoft.com/en-us/azure/communication-services/quickstarts/rooms/get-started-rooms?pivots=programming-language-csharp - but the namespace for RoomsClient is unavailable.

Hi. Thanks for the response. I am not getting any error, but I am not able to find namespace & classes too. When I asked about in Twitter, I received a response stating that it is not in public preview yet. I am using GroupID (Concept of Group Call), instead of RoomID now. Meantime, I noticed ACS is used in Linkedin Video Calls - is that GroupID based or RoomID based?

Yes that is correct. This feature is in private preview but the engineering team can grant you access to use it. Please reach out to us at azcommunity@microsoft.com with the subject ATTN: Grace and in the body of the email include your Azure Subscription ID so we can enable you to use this feature.
