Hello, I'm trying to understand the best path here to manage the infrastructure with your valuable input/experience and time from it.

We have CM infrastructure without CMG yet(runs using Enhanced HTTP) and whole new Intune as not much done yet.

Quick info about infrastructure: 1K+ Laptops, 500+ Servers and Clients in Azure.

anonymous user Thanks for posting in our Q&A. Honestly, I'm not familiar with MECM and I only share some information from intune's point of view.

Servers are not supported in intune. Intune supported operating systems are listed in the following article:
    https://learn.microsoft.com/en-us/mem/intune/fundamentals/supported-devices-browsers

For windows clients, of course you can use intune to manage them.

    Hi anonymous user,

We could manage 1K+ Laptops, 500+ Servers and Clients by SCCM, about the path, there may not the best method, we should design it according to our specific environment.

About the scale, size and design, we could refer to this docs from Microsoft:
    https://learn.microsoft.com/en-us/mem/configmgr/core/plan-design/configs/size-and-scale-numbers
