Server 2022 - Storage Cache

Hi, we have some legacy servers with 2 X 700GB SSD, 2 X 450GB SSD, and 4 X 2.2TB HDU's. These were part of a cluster with Storage Spaces Direct deployed. Now, we want to use these as single servers and utilise the Storage Bus Cache feature of Server 2022. The thing is the MS documentation is pretty poor for deployment. As we understand it we can have Shared or Cache deployments, but we would like better information around the the CacheMetadataReservedBytes setting - for pure Cache Mode deployment. Would that be a good choice given the number and size of the SSD's we have - or would it be better to deploy using Shared and set the SharedCachePercent to be 50%? Initially this is a question to engage and have a chat around options with peers to better understand the good/better/best ways of deployment for maximum capacity and use of the SSDs in these volumes.     Thank you for your question and reaching out. I can understand you are having query related to find best ways of deployment for maximum capacity and use of the SSDs

    Shared cache percentage :
    This field is only applicable when the Provision Mode is set to Shared. The default value is 15% and the field can be set from 5% to 90%. A value over 50% is not recommended when using mirror accelerated parity volumes as there needs to be a balance between the cache and the mirror tier.
