Hello,

is it possible to use the shared device feature with user-based licensing and not device-based licensing?
We have devices where many users will log in. The office license is given via the 365 Admin Center.

The problem is that word tells us the user is not licensed.

It looks like these are normally separated, but shared devices using Self-Service provision do not require user based licensing. https://learn.microsoft.com/en-us/answers/questions/717778/autopilot-user-driven-versus-shared-device-why-the.html

That said, I would recommend making a free ticket with the billing team or speaking with your licensing representative of choice since license-related questions are supported by sales and billing.
