Hello, my camera is not detected in my device, which when opening the camera application shows the error code 0xA00F4244<NoCamerasAreAttached>. I tried some solution online to no avail, then i tried uninstalling the driver in Device Manager to then "Scan for Hardware Changes". After scanning for changes, the driver is now gone and doesn't show up anymore and restarting the device doesn't seem to solve the issue. Is there any solution to this issue? Thanks in advance.

Hello, and thanks for reaching out! I'm Nals, and I'll be happy to assist you today.

Do you have any third-party antivirus? If so, you can temporarily disable your antivirus software and check if the camera starts working.

Inspect the camera lens located above your screen. Ensure that any privacy slider covering the lens is open to allow access to the webcam. Check the function keys (F1 - F12) on your keyboard if you find a key with a camera icon, press that key alone or with the Fn key to activate your webcam.

If the above steps don't resolve the issue, it might be a driver problem. Visit the support website for your specific laptop model on the manufacturer's website. Locate the download section for your model and find the latest version of the webcam drivers. Download and install these drivers following the manufacturer's instructions.

    Regards,

    Nals

I've done that the first time i found out my device doesn't recognize the camera. The "Integrated Camera" was there and I tried to uninstall the driver to then scan for hardware changes, but it didn't reappear , even when I restart the device.

    Thank you for the update!

Please check Hidden Devices in Device Manager:

    Open Device Manager.

Click on View > Show hidden devices.

Look under the Imaging Devices or Cameras section to see if your camera appears. If it does, right-click it and select Enable device.

    Hi,

If you click View > Show Hidden devices in the device manager, does it appear?

Hi, I've checked all of the solution above and it doesn't resolve the issue. The driver is still missing in my Device Manager and the camera still doesn't work. I'm not sure why it doesn't show up even though i downloaded and installed the camera driver directly from Lenovo's website.
