Can I NOT run a workflow for a join? How to check for a join in the Workflow?

I have a workflow that runs on a transition of an account into a set. Most accounts already exist (Joins); a few will be new accounts (Adds). Can I run the workflow for Adds but not Joins? Can I check for a Join in the Workflow?
Or do I add the joined accounts to the set before enabling the workflow?

    Hi,

To run on only adds, you could use the Request MPR type (please see screenshots).

Or you could design the set to only include the set transitions desired.
