Cannot Sign In Using School Account

Question

I tried signing into my school account using Microsoft Authenticator app. It didn't work so I removed the school account from the authenticator app to retry the whole process.
Now whenever I try to login to the school account it says that the school account is registered in the Microsoft Authenticator app yet I removed it. It asks for a code that I cannot give and now I cannot access my school account from any device.
I've tried removing cache but it still doesn't work.
Help would be greatly appreciated.

That isn't the correct procedure. The two-factor on the account should have been removed as first step. The fix now is to ask the school admins to reset the two-factor on your account.
