remotewebaccess.com and ssl renewal

Question

I have an issue with a server essentials 2016 machine which began with not being able to connect to the vpn. I have since discovered that the remotewebaccess.com ssl certificate has expired but it doesnt seem to want to renew it and I cant find anywhere on the microsoft website to renew it - is the service dead? The configure and repair options for the remote access are failing with errors. Can anyone suggest what to try and how to get it resolved. Even if I registered my own domain with the aim of replacing the remotewebaccess.com ssl cert, the system doesnt seem to want me to replace the address anyway as it gives errors and no option to change the domain.
