Metric alert filtering without dimension splitting

Is it currently possible to do filtering on metrics alerts without turning on dimension splitting?

In the monitor's metric blade I can filter out data without doing any splitting but alert rule created from metric view has turned on splitting.

    Hi,
    It is not possible. When you want to filter on specific dimension you add that dimension thus alerts will be fired per dimension.
