Move user data to One Drive including Archive.pst

Question

We need to move local user data and the archive.pst file to their one drive. And delete the user local data to free up the disk space . How to achieve this ?
Can we move the Archive.pst to users one drive ? Also can we move the user local data to One drive and delete the local data to free up the disk space ?

While it is not recommended to store PST files in OneDrive. It is possible. You may find the following article useful, specifically "Invalid or blocked file type" which helps explain pst behaviour

Once you are happy you have moved all data from the profile and the initial upload to OneDrive is complete. you are safe to delete the users windows profile.

please note that if you use the "backup" option in OneDrive this only backs up "Known Folders" which are desktop, documents and pictures. any other document libraries will need to be repointed manually to OneDrive.
