MFA RDG Prompt Every time with NPS Azure Extension

I just got the NPS Extension to work on my Remote Desktop gateway. My clients are using Remote Desktop Connection built into windows. It works as long as the clients set up the Authenticator App as their primary MFA method. BUT… the users have to use the authenticator app EVERY time they connect to the Remote Desktop. I thought they would only get prompted every 30 days or so. Is this normal behavior?

    So do clients need to use the authenticator app EVERY time they connect to the Remote Desktop, or is there a way to say remember a device for so many days?
