I understand after I enable the databricks model serving in the UI, I can do inference via REST API, but the question is how can I use REST API to enable the model serving. I only found the API to register model, update model version in the docs.

    Hello @健 丁 ,

Thanks for the question and using MS Q&A platform.

This will be possible with our Model Serving "v2" which is entering preview shortly; today there's no pubic facing API to turn on model serving.

Meanwhile, you may look at Mlflow as an option: https://databricks.com/blog/2020/11/02/quickly-deploy-test-and-manage-ml-models-as-rest-endpoints-with-mlflow-model-serving-on-databricks.html

Hope this will help. Please let us know if any further queries.
