Could you try to access the URLs(like go.microsoft.com, https://aka.ms/vs/16/release/channel) that mentioned in the log file by using your browser(s) directly, and check if they are accessible? Besides, is it possible for you to try to change to another network connection to reinstall VS and confirm that the issue is caused by the network?
"go.microsoft.com" it is accessible. The other one I got a file,I think it also accessible.
I can not upload the file(.txt),like the issue,I only upload one log file,because I can not upload the other files.
So I think the problem is caused by the network.Maybe the network is unstable.
Then,I tried to use my mobile hotspot,but it still can not install.I am not sure how did it heppened.
I used the offline install,but I got the error: "Error: General exception error in web client."
Do you use any proxy, antivirus software which may prevent your machine from connecting and installing VS? If so, please try to disable them temporarily and install VS again.
Besides, have you tried to reboot your machine and reinstall VS?
I have Kaspersky.But at last week,I can install vs2019 normally.
Yesterday,I had some problems about Intellicode and Microsoft.ServiceHub.Client.
Then,I tried to reinstall vs2019.
At that time,my visual studio installer crashed,so I used "cleanup" to uninstall vs2019.
I hoped it can help me to install vs2019,because I can not use the visual studio installer to remove vs2019.
But it didn't work.My visual studio installer still crashed.
This morning,I used the Q&A.After that,my visual studio installer didn't crash again.But it still can not install vs2019.
I tried to reboot my computer about 2 or 3 times and reinstalled vs2019.
Hi @Chen Ting Yu , could you try to use "chkdsk" command in an elevated Command Prompt to scan your disk(s) and then reinstall VS? Check this doc: chkdsk, and the command line should be like chksdk c: /r. If you can change the location for saving Visual Studio, I suggest you have a try to change to install VS in anther disk. I suspect some parts of your disk(s) may be corrupted.
Yesterday I reformated my computer.
Now I can install vs2019 normally.
