I want to take full PST backup of an O365 mailbox.
Is taking exporting PST from eDiscovery same as taking it from Outlook using Export option ?

With Edsicovery you will also get everything in the hidden recoverable folders, so its more than what you would get if simply exporting to a pst from Outlook.
You can choose not to export those out to a pst however.

I would think the pst export option from Outlook is the way to go, but either will work.
