Hi there,
One of the most common reasons why this error appears is because SMB1 support is disabled on the computer that is trying to connect to the domain. If that’s the case, you can enable SMB1 support quite easily via the Windows Features screen.
In the Windows Features menu, scroll down through the list of features and make sure that SMB 1.0/ CIFS File Sharing Support and any associated sub-menu are enabled. Then hit Ok to save the changes.
There are several 3rd party antivirus and/or firewall applications that are commonly reported as being responsible for blocking domain joining attempts.

Are you using a wired or wireless connection? Have you tried to reset Winsock using an Admin Command prompt using the command: netsh winsock reset
Hi,
A couple of questions:
Why are you unjoining the workstation from the domain, is this a one off or a common activity?
Do you get this every time you unjoin a workstation?
Does the netsetup.log file have any errors or additional information?
Do you have any AV or end point protection software installed?
Gary.
